Many people think of Christmas and Easter as times of special significance, maybe even a time to attend church. Many people are aware of the birth of Jesus Christ as a baby, and that Jesus was crucified on a cross. But does the life, death and resurrection of Jesus have any relevance to my life beyond just attending religious services once or twice a year? Our hymn for today, Tell Me the Story of Jesus, tells us in simple yet powerful language, of the deep significance of Jesus’ birth, not only to our world, but to the entire universe.
