In this episode, we’re exploring drumming as a tool for healing. This is something you can literally take in your hands - you don’t need to be a musician! And it’s even more powerful when a group of people are drumming together. Our guest Craig Norton offers community drum circles throughout Connecticut. He leads participatory drumming events in schools, libraries, museums, wellness programs and more. Craig also plays percussion in a variety of bands including Cosmic Hue, Bodhi Groove and Kalidasa Kirtan. He has studied or played with Babatunde Olatunji, Mickey Hart, Angelique Kidjo, Glenn Valez, and Arthur Hull, among others.
