About Toby Farren: Toby started his career as a video game journalist and when he recognized the potential of applying these game structures in non-gaming scenarios, he began working on the initial principles of what would later become PlayTank. After working in research at IBM, focusing on a gamified training tool for customer support representatives, Toby left in 2013 to work full time on PlayTank, a democratised ideation and innovation platform, that features an engaging gamification system.
