Psalm 16 encourages us to have confidence in God's ability to give and sustain our greatest joy in this life and the next. This Psalm starts with a request to God, and is followed by four reminders of why David feels confident about making such a request:
1) God is our Refuge (v. 1)
2) The Lordship of God (v. 2)
3) God is our Treasure (vs. 2-6)
4) God is our Counselor (v. 7)
Ask God to continually remind you of these truths that you might have true joy in Him!
