My name is Lucas SILVA EDWARDS, I am a Career strategist and Executive coach with more than 10+ years in the fashion and luxury industry, here in Paris, France. I have worked for some of the most prestigious brands like Dior, Lanvin, L’Oreal or Le Bon Marché, but also in a large array of position: product manager, store assistant, studio coordinator or Fashion editor.

My role with this podcast is to help you DESIGN a SUCCESSFUL LIFE AND CAREER in one of the most glamorous and magical industry on the planet. But also one of the most competitive and demanding ones.

For that reason, I’ve interviewed fashion professionals at DIFFERENT STAGES of their career, in order to decode their best PRACTICES, TACTICS and STRATEGIES

In this first season, we are going to talk to a large diversity of people from different nationalities. Some of them are French, American, Taiwanese or Brazilians. Some are graduate students finishing their last internship, others are seasoned professionals with experience in the most coveted brands: Chanel, Dior, Off-White or Balenciaga. We will also discover different types of job positions: from designer, buyer or Store Director to Culture manager or Style Expert.

Before you jump in and listen the first episode, few information regarding the format of this podcast. All the episode are between 1h or 2h hours long. I have chosen this format because, i believe this is the best way to go deep within each individual story and get the best insights possible. Even though most episodes are in English, some of them are in French. So if you are learning french, take this opportunity to practice, if you are not, please BARE with me and enjoy the English friendly ones. Last but not least, in order to keep the AUTHENTICITY of the conversation, I have decided to barely edit each interview.
