Donald Trump issued a flurry of executive orders on Monday, and by doing so he likely set the country back by years. His actions will cause drug prices to increase, inflation to rise, and create massive humanitarian crises both here and abroad. The amount of damage he accomplished in just one day is nothing short of mind-blowing, and it is a terrible preview of what's to come.
Marjorie Taylor Greene just put a target on the back of every Democrat in this country by lying to her rabid base and telling them that Democrats want to line up Republicans in front of a firing squad and execute them. This obviously never happened, but Greene is determined to turn Democrats and everyone on the Left into the enemy so that the most unhinged among the MAGA base will take matters into their own hands.
The three richest men on the planet - Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and Mark Zuckerberg - all had front row seats for Donald Trump's inauguration on Monday, which meant that there wasn't enough room for actual elected officials. Because of this, multiple Republican governors were forced to watch the event from the "overflow room," and they were denied seats at the main event. Trump is showing us who he cares about, and it isn't the people.
Just three days ago, Donald Trump was being heralded as the "savior" of TikTok, with the app coming back online and thanking Trump for taking action. But that note of thanks was clearly premature, as Trump has already changed his tune and said that the app is likely "worthless" and may not even be worth saving anymore. This shouldn't actually come as a surprise to anyone that was paying attention.
