Stephanie Almonte, Speech Therapist, discusses how Social Pragmatic Communication Disorder (SCD) is characterized by challenges in social communication across a variety of settings in the past Covid world. The increase of patients experiencing social dysfunction that may manifest as an inablility to return to the office, anxiety around social settings, anxieties, around non-verbal communication and contextual understanding.
