On May 31, 2019 the world lost a musical astral traveller, that was a true pioneer and genius old soul. His career started in the great state of Texas, spanning many trials, and tribulations that would have broken a lessee man into a million pieces scattered amongst the cosmos. He also flew beyond the sun, leaving our solar system behind and in doing so inspired countless a cotyles to continue breathing fire into the genre he created. Psychedelia wold not exist without him, but his unique style put him in a class all his own. The late great Roky Erickson left it all on the field and then some. On this episode, we pay tribute to a man that is criminally underrated and deserves a stature. Here at Euphoric Musicality Radio, we honour him and his achievements.
