Japan Airlines says a cyber attack delayed some flights in Japan and also overseas. The company says the apparent attack began on Thursday morning and disrupted the company’s internal and external systems. A router was causing problems and ticket sales were suspended for Thursday flights. ANA, Japan’s other big airline, said it found no signs of an attack on its systems.

President Joe Biden shared his final Christmas greetings as president, calling for unity. He thanked U.S. servicemembers for their sacrifices during the holidays. President-elect Donald Trump also issued a Christmas message, outlining proposals for Canada, Greenland, and the Panama Canal.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu took part in a Hanukkah ceremony on Wednesday, and vowed to strike hard at enemies such as the Houthi terrorists. A missile attack from Yemen triggered air raid sirens in Israel on the same day, marking the fourth incident in a week.
