Jesus tells us in A Course in Miracles that we do not place our trust in Him but instead we place it in the ego. This is where the mistrust of God lies. If we can step back, realize we do not know the answer to any of our seeming problems, and simply be still in the quiet with Him, we will receive exactly what we need.
