Good morning welcome to the middle of the work week from Joe Mathieu and the GBH Morning Edition team. Pretty important news here in the Bay State yesterday as ZERO deaths from Covid-19 were reported for the first time since June of 2020. We have also reached 3 million fully vaccinated citizens and continue to lead the country in many of those statistics… way to go Massachusetts! The metrics look great here, and things look even better when you look back at the headlines from a year ago, when the phrase “the new normal” was just starting to take hold.
