Every once in a while things don't work as they should.
This is Check A Pro Joe from the Check A Pro Radio show.
What I'm talking about is sometimes outlets,
your electrical outlets don't work.
And so this question comes up all the time here at Checkup Pro Radio.
So I asked a friend of mine who happens to be an expert in electrical work.
His name is Gareth Kelly and he's with dream team,
air conditioning,
heating,
plumbing,
and electrical Gareth.
How are you?
I'm doing great,
Joel,
how are you doing today?
I'm doing fantastic.
So you know that this happens every once in a while,
an outlet may not work.
But if it was working at some point,
should I be concerned with the fact that it's not working now?
So that's a great question.
I would say the answer would be yes,
you should be concerned about it.
So if one or more out to stop working,
that's the sign that something bad is happening inside your electrical system.
This could be multiple things.
It could be a proper connections,
worn parts,
a damaged wire or even a circuit breaker.
Um And sometimes it's a combination of all these problems.
Um We not only find it,
if we find that the part is worn and has loose connections,
then all the parts on that circuit are the same age and probably should be replaced because if one of the stops,
the next one could stop later down the road.
So,
you know,
if the circle breaker in the panel is worn,
it 28 years old,
chances are another circle breaker is gonna feel down the road too.
So it's the same with your outlets are only designed to last so long.
But it is definitely um a cause for concern because we don't know exactly what's happening inside it.
So we need to get checked out any type of change in a system means there's something going on.
It's kind of like us as humans.
If our blood pressure changes going up or down from what it normally is,
the doctor is concerned and they run some tests and we often put you on medication to either bring it down or bring it up if your electrical outlet was working and it was installed correctly,
but it's not working.
Now,
there could be a number of things wrong with it.
So you should call a professional out like Gareth and his team over at dream team.
All of their information is located in the description of this podcast,
their phone number.
Uh You can also quickly schedule an appointment with them.
It's all there,
Gareth anything else on this subject?
Um Some other things that may be going on if someone installs working it like wires due to pass or proper installation.
Do you know what I mean?
So we always want to get those wires checked out because we don't know what's going to feel next.
And normally these connections are hiding behind a wall head and behind and out,
but in a junction box somewhere.
So it definitely important to call,
you know,
an expert out and get your system check out because you just don't know what is going to feel next.
Exactly.
Thank you,
Gareth Gareth Kelly Dream team,
air conditioning,
heating,
plumbing,
and electrical.
They're there for just about everything,
service in your home.
All his information is located in the description of this podcast,
Gareth.
Thank you very much.
Thank you,
Joe.
