1 Corinthians 3:17 says, “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” Today on Family Talk, as we prepare to celebrate the anniversary of the birth of the United States of America, we will hear from Gary Bauer and Bob McEwen, executive director of the Council for National Policy. Bob reminds us that July 4, 1776, marks that momentous occasion in which America became the symbol for freedom around the globe. We must not fail to teach our children that our nation was founded on the truth and principles of the Bible or we’ll run the risk of losing the liberties that we hold so dear.
