Fri3ndship's lyrics capture the pull and push of emotions, weaving a narrative about resilience and flow in times of change. She reflects, “When I first heard Dangeon’s production, in early 2022... I loved the power and how it’s always full of movement. We both grew up a lot working together over the last couple of years, and learned so much throughout the process. Writing “Tides” was like capturing my ebb and flow of life and actually started about the insecurity of work, what’s given, what’s granted and finding the power to rise above and know there’s better ahead through perseverance.” As one of the opening releases of 2025 for DNBB, “Tides” marks an exciting expansion of the label's roster with this international collaboration with the distinct sounds from both Dangeon and Fri3ndship combining in force!
