My Fifth Wheel Experience

Divorced but not dead, yet.

In this week's episode I share my experience of being a fifth wheel on an unexpected double date. My initial reaction was ‘Count Me Out’! I felt that if I went I would feel lonely and uncomfortable. I hate to say, I was right lol. Although I felt alone and uncomfortable at times, I realized my fear of being uncomfortable was less than I thought it would be. I now understand that although social settings post divorce can be difficult, we have to push ourselves out of our comfort zones in order to move forward so that we don’t miss out on experiences because we are now single.
