But to understand who Hugh is, we must first discover who Hugh WAS - and in the faraway land of Arborough we get such a glimpse into Hugh's past.

Experience the expulsion, rejection, barber-ism, and perhaps even - acceptance(?), as we dive into the mind and memories of a lonesome little wood elf.

(And perhaps learn to understand why Hugh is the type who would scam his "friends" so egregiously over the price of chicken and waffles in the process.)

But will Bryan ever read the character sheet he's given?

And does learning more about Hugh make him more like-able? or "sympathetic to the audience", as Pob said?

And could Hugh truly possess the blood of an ancient God!?
