Episode 13: Eighth Grade -- Growing Up in the Snapchat Generation
Manage episode 336419939 series 3250800
We invite our friend Vamika over to discuss comedian Bo Burnham's writing-directing debut -- Eighth Grade!
Eighth Grade stars Elsie Fisher as an early teen on the verge of entering high school, and the trials and tribulations in her life caused by the invisible hand of social media. We discuss various things -- from our experiences as teens to our experience while watching the films. Devansh also cracks a few bad jokes, so this episode is worth a listen just for that.
Thanks Vamika for joining us in this episode! Check out an instagram handle that Vamika and her friends run -- @kulcha_e_ulfat!
