He worked in a warehouse, and then as a security guard, and finally as a claims adjuster. A few years later, his buddy got him an interview at EMC for a sales job. Tom had not heard of EMC at at the time, but he took the interview anyway. And? He fell short... His buddy shared the following feedback when it was over... 'They said you were pretty mediocre...' Thankfully for Tom, EMC gave him a second chance. 'I was at the right place at the right time and blessed to be molded by them' Tom put in the work and rose through the ranks at EMC for the next 16 years. Today, he sits atop ServiceNow Americas - a company that he's watched grow from $400 Million and 1000 employees to $10 Billion and 23,000 employees since he joined ten years ago. How?
