Dreams and aspirations are almost always hard to achieve due to the terrain across valleys and the difficult seasons of one's life. The valley journey is often through hunger, failure, disappointment, depression, loneliness, and pain. However, life dreams, childhood imaginations, aspirations, work, and ministry become valuable, desirable, breakthrough, and sought-after entities and reality in the valley. "
The biblical Joseph's journey to realizing his dreams is a perfect example of an individual dreamer's encounters and experiences on the way to dream realization. To some, the dreamer's challenges began very early on in life. Like Joseph, right from birth, Rachael, Joseph's birth mother, experienced delayed childbirth, defiling all efforts. Dealing with the rivals of the three other wives of Jacob, who have given birth multiple times, Rachael, in her frustration and deep sorrow, Rachael said to her husband Jacob, "Give me children or else I die." Joseph's challenges or obstacles began with:
Bereavement, Hatred, Envy, Violence, Conspiracy, Betrayal, Sadism, Deception, and More.
