Chris Nowinski is a former football player at Harvard University and professional wrestler with WWE, World Wrestling Entertainment. After enduring a career-ending head injury, Chris has dedicated his professional life to serving patients and families affected by brain trauma, particularly Chronic traumatic encephalopathy, or CTE, a progressive neurodegenerative disease that develops after repeated head injuries. Now that Connie has finished the novella "Wolf," she has begun working on a screenplay that she will also adapt to a novel. It is called "Beneath the White Veil." Since this is beginning as a screenplay, she is doing more plotting than she typically does. She watched videos of Eric Edson's version of plotting that he calls "The Story Solution." She has ordered the book and is waiting for its arrival.

She said she is excited about this process, and thinks it should make for a suspensful screenplay and novel.
