Dr Andrea Burris: What Is A User Researcher?

Andrea Burris is a Senior User Researcher, with a background in Psychology and Human Factors. She has 7 years experience working across academia, government and tech industry, working with a variety of organisations from large retailers to small tech start ups. Her main focus within her career has been to ensure the business focus is led by user insights and to continually bring the voice of the end user into the design process at every stage.

She gives us an insight into her role and her journey so far. She also tells us what a day in the life of a User Researcher is like, and how she’s balancing work and play in the current lockdown.
