Plain and simple. Marketing is one of the core needs of a business. Picking the right “horse” is extremely easy. You can nail it down in the initial meeting. Did they come in the door, as excited or more informed about your specific company as you are? Do they ask you how you want to market? If this is happening, it’s time to run. Your marketing is your brand. Invest in people that don’t just WANT to elevate you, but actively do elevate you. Action trumps intent.
