Good opportunities are not always God opportunities. That is why we wait on the Lord and position ourselves to discern which doors God is opening or closing before us. For example, in Acts 16, the Holy Spirit did not permit Paul and his team to minister in Asia, closing that door to them. Instead, the Holy Spirit opened the door to Macedonia, a Roman colony, and to Philippi, the leading city in that region. Thank God for the closed doors in your life as much as for the open doors. The Lord not only has your best in mind when He closes one door and opens another but also has a blessing in mind for others.
