By virtue of her years as an MTV VJ, as well as her role in "Dumb and Dumber" alone, KAREN DUFFY is practically a Goddess to a generation of us who grew up through the 90's. But for the TV host formerly known as "Duff", conquering pop culture was nothing compared to the challenges she's faced head-on since then. After learning that she suffered from a rare, uncureable condition known as neurosarcoidosis, the former model-turned-physical therapist-turned-TV star shifted to a successful writing career. With her latest book, "Wise Up: Irreverent Enlightenment from a Mother Who's Been Through It", hitting the shelves this year, Karen joined us to chat about growing up Jersey, interviewing A-list stars during her years with MTV, and sharing inspiration and laughs on the written page.
