At one point in his life, one Detention Center resident thought lasting change was unattainable. "This time, it feels real. I can say with confidence, God willing, I'm not going to have to take this class again." He was one of six residents who described finding purpose from participating in programs through which they can earn a GED or college credits from Trident Tech.
