The Association of American Universities found in their campus climate survey that, rates of reporting to campus officials and law enforcement are low, ranging from 5-28%, depending on the degree of the assault. In this episode, I talk about ways universities can make victims more willing to seek help and more willing to trust their universities. One resource for help is resident advisors. This episode features an interview with senior RA Mary Tait and what she does to help victims. Along with Mary’s interview, is a sexual assault victim’s storying and why she didn’t report it.
