Hager family donates $5 million for pancreatic cancer research

The family of Bob Hager, the Vancouver lawyer who helped establish the Philips, Hager and North law firm and lost his battle with pancreatic cancer in 2011, has donated $5 million to enhance the Pancreas Centre BC research facility he launched before his passing. His wife Judy and co-director Dr. Daniel Renouf discuss the advances and challenges of combatting pancreatic cancer on World Pancreatic Cancer Day. They are in conversation with BIV publisher and editor-in-chief Kirk LaPointe.
