Lu-Fong is currently the chief marketing officer at a clean energy company, TAE Power Solutions -- promoting electrification in vehicles and energy storage, using technology derived from nuclear fusion R&D.

Leading up to his current role, Lu-Fong has spent half his professional life in Singapore, half in the US on both coasts, and also in both the public and private sectors. Lu-Fong has had varied professional experiences. Formerly, he spent time at Applied Materials as a Managing Director, at Corning as a product manager for Gorilla Glass, at Uber at cybersecurity chief of staff, at McKinsey for his first ever summer working in the US, and in the Singapore Navy driving its warships as a second-in-command (or XO / executive-officer).
