Bernstein, Holmes and Rahimi then discussed the joy being rediscovered in gymnastics after the sport was plagued by scandal. Later, Bernstein and Holmes discussed American swimmer Katie Ledecky claiming her eighth career gold medal Wednesday at the Summer Olympics, where she notched a new Olympic record. The 27-year-old Ledecky finished the women’s 1,500-meter freestyle final more than 10 seconds ahead of the silver medal finisher.
