Happy Mothers day! It is a privilege and a joy to get to serve alongside so many wonderful moms in our church. Today we will be diving in to 2 Timothy 3 and unpacking how those around us influence us, especially those in positions of leadership in our lives. I am struck particularly by how Paul states to Timothy "from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus." Timothy did not seem to have a father who was pointing him to Jesus, but his mother and grandmother poured the truth into him from the time he was a baby. Lois and Eunice are prime examples of what gospel empowered motherhood looks like! Lets follow their example and pour the truth into our children!
