To his beloved Philippian brothers and sisters, Paul wrote, "this one thing I do". Not "a hundred things I start" or "these 10 things I try", but "this ONE thing I do". Paul was a focused individual and he encourages us to be focused too! He brought all his being to bear into pursuit of this "one thing". All his energy is put into pressing toward his goal.
