On this Mother's Day we would like to honor the sisters in our church by talking about two very special women in Jesus' life, his good friends Martha and her sister Mary. Martha, of course, was the older and busier sister. She spent her time scurrying about the house, preparing an exquisite dinner for Jesus during his visit, while Mary spent her time sitting at Jesus' feet hanging on to every word he spoke.
