How occupational therapy can help children with autism
Manage episode 338135966 series 2956034
Autism is a neurological disorder affecting children as young as 18 months of age. There are many interventions for children with autism. Some are evidence-based and many are not. In today's episode, I share how occupational therapy can help your child with autism. I am not an occupational therapist, consult an occupational therapist trained in sensory integration who can help to address your child's needs.
I have a blog www.autismfamilystory.com which I started to help parents of children with special needs with helpful tips and strategies they can use to help their child with autism. I am also active on social media Instagram(@autismfamilystory) wherein I share lots of helpful information for parents who are on this journey. I also have a page on Facebook autismfamilystory. I am also active on Pinterest by the name Autismfamilystory. I started this podcast to help parents of children with special needs with helpful strategies and tips I learned over the years in raising my son who is on the autism spectrum.
