Medical Cannabis: What’s real, what’s blowin’ smoke, and what’s flat out dangerous? Medical marijuana is touted as a miracle drug for everything from anxiety to epilepsy. It’s also big business in Arizona, with dispensaries selling more than 40 tons of cannabis products in 2017, bringing in millions of state tax dollars. Yet the medical profession is divided on the benefits and dangers of this drug, which remains illegal in 20 states.
