During this episode, Carina speaks with Bihong Wang, President of the Asian Business Association of Whitehorse in Box Hill.
The Asian Business Association of Whitehorse, also known as ABAW, is a volunteer organisation that supports business owners of Asian heritage in the Whitehorse community and beyond. ABAW is also dedicated to passing on cultural traditions, and they are responsible for organising one of Australia’s largest Chinese Lunar New Year Festivals and other Chinese cultural events. Bihong speaks about the work of ABAW, and provides an insight into the organisation of the Chinese Lunar New Year Festival and upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival.
