We discuss what she studied to receive her master's degree in Youth Ministry Leadership from Huntington University, retaining youth in ministry past high school and into adulthood, how her life as a stay-at-home mom has influenced her work, her "life verse" and her path to faith and ministry, the potential causes of low self-worth in teenagers & the pitfalls of social media, how a trip to Israel inspired her book, the difficulties of getting youth to see the big picture and think longer-term, the importance of knowing people "by name" and being able to truly listen.
