Welcome to the Journey Through the Storms Podcast (formally the Make an Adjustment Podcast)! After a break to get myself together, I’ve decided to return to something I love. Doing this podcast was so much fun, but I also had some growing to do. I spent the better part of the year growing in my faith after getting down on myself for multiple things I felt I was doing wrong. I now feel that I have grown enough to return to helping others through their difficult journey, building faith, and getting through life. Life changes constantly, but only two things remain consistent: our circle of control and our faith. Join me as we talk about life, love, and sometimes fun things like sports and fun guests.

There is nothing more unconditional than a mother's love for most people. Moms don’t always express their love in the same way because they have many different ways of showing it. However, one thing should be clear: mothers should not be judged based on how they demonstrate their love for their families. Not everyone expresses love in the same manner. Join me as I discuss how I show love to my family and how they show love to me.…

"The world appears to be less united than ever before. Although people claim that they want to be united, their actions often lead to further disunity. Nowadays, individuals are using the term "triggered" to silence others. They may say they are triggered when their feelings are hurt by something someone else has said. However, in reality, that is not being triggered. Triggers are events that occur when a veteran hears a loud bang, a trafficking victim smells a smell, or an abuse victim hears shouting. These triggers take them back to a source of trauma. Not agreeing with someone's point of view is not a source of trauma. This type of thinking prevents us from being unified. Therefore, I ask you, are you easily "triggered"?…
