In this episode, I sit down with Jennifer Faustino. Our story goes back to 2018, when she first came to train with me at my very first studio. It was a Saturday morning, and she showed up in full glam- full makeup, ready to go. Later, she admitted she had been following me on Instagram for years, and meeting me felt like meeting a celebrity, which still makes me laugh. We trained for few years but then 2020 came. Jen threw herself into work, putting herself last. She gained a massive amount of weight, struggled with severe back pain, exhaustion, and ended up needing back surgery. At one point, she could barely walk. At her lowest, she realized she had no choice but to change. She started working with her doctor, cleaned up her nutrition, lost weight, and on her doctor’s advice- came back to lifting with me and BBM. Now, she trains live three to four times a week and, more importantly, has made herself a true priority for the first time in her life. We also talk about her volunteer work at a home for the terminally ill and how that experience gives her daily perspective on what really matters. One of the most emotional parts of this conversation is when Jen talks about the role I played in her comeback and how having the right support and community can pull out the best in you when you feel like you have nothing left. This episode is about taking ownership of your life, no matter how far off track you’ve gone, and proving to yourself that it’s never too late. Jen also shares a powerful message for anyone who doubts themselves: if you think you can’t do it- you absolutely can. In this episode, I sit down with a few of the Sprint Month participants to talk through what changed for them during this challenge. You’ll hear real examples of what momentum looked like: clearing six bags of clutter, deleting over three thousand photos, and reaching inbox zero after months of backlog. Some participants shared surprising personal wins too, like writing long-delayed farewell letters, pitching travel agencies, and even having their kids join in on the decluttering. The theme across the board was simple: do it now, not later. Sprint Month helped shift the old perfectionism mindset into daily, practical action. We also talked about why the co-working hours turned out to be the secret weapon, like a virtual study hall that made it almost impossible to procrastinate and how posting messy “before” pictures inside the private group created a zero-judgment space where everyone could be proud of their real progress. The ripple effects reached far beyond closets and garages. Better focus. More structure for side businesses. Calmer mornings. A clearer mind going into summer. Sprint Month returns in May. If you want to clear the clutter you have been carrying, whether in your home, your business, or your head, you can join us for the next round. The private Facebook group opens May 1st and we kick off live on Saturday, May 3rd at 10:30 a.m. Eastern. You can sign up here → https://monikaamazur.as.me/sprint-month-challenge…
This week, I’m joined by Ala (Alicja), a BBM client from Poland who made a bold move and reached out right after hearing me on a podcast. She didn’t wait. She didn’t overthink. And that one decision created a complete shift in how she trains, works, and lives. Ala came to BBM after years of doing intense workouts like CrossFit that left her with a thick waist, big traps, flat booty and a body that hurt. She was stuck in perfectionism, planning everything down to the last detail, putting pressure on herself to get everything right, and leaving no room for creativity or joy. Through BBM, she found a training structure that finally delivered the aesthetic results she wanted without the burnout. And through Sprint Month, she organized her life in a way that gave her back her presence. For the first time in a long time, she wasn’t overthinking or mentally juggling everything. She was just there. Calm. Focused. Clear. We talk about: • The physical differences between CrossFit and BBM and why BBM worked • How she stopped spinning in circles and started training with intention • The cost of perfectionism (in her body, her classroom, and her day-to-day life) • What she let go of during Sprint Month and what that created in return • Why peace of mind isn’t something you earn later, it’s something you can create now If you’ve been stuck in overthinking, overplanning, or trying to “get it perfect” before you start, this one’s for you. In this solo episode, I’m talking about something I see all the time—women who are constantly in motion, always doing, always busy… but somehow still not getting the results they want. It’s not a time issue. It’s a focus issue. Here’s what I’m getting into: • How being busy without direction keeps you stuck • What lack of structure actually costs you (in fitness, business, and beyond) • Why multitasking and mental clutter are quietly draining your energy • How Sprint Month helped BBM clients finally build momentum—and why we’re doing it again in May If you’ve ever asked yourself, “Why am I doing so much but still feel like I’m getting nowhere?”—this episode will give you the clarity (and call-out) you need to shift into action that actually leads to results. This week on the podcast, I’m joined by Marie-Luise, a professional opera singer from Germany who made a bold move after doing 100 solo workouts that led nowhere. She had already been performing a major role- twice. The first time, she promised herself she’d get in better shape for the second round. So she trained consistently… but when she stepped into the costume again, it was still just as tight. That’s when she reached out to me. We had spoken once in 2021 but never started. This time? She joined within three hours. And she’s been going strong ever since. Marie-Louise doesn’t attend live Zooms. She doesn’t need reminders. She follows her custom BBM program solo and the transformation has been wild. In this episode, we talk about: Why she finally stopped trying to “figure it out” on her own What changed when she started strength training with structure The difference between being disciplined alone vs. being coached How her transformation is showing up not just in her body, but in her performance, her confidence, and her presence on stage We also get into: Why her mom noticing the change might’ve been the biggest moment How Marie-Louise went from avoiding free weights to owning her space in the gym What performers need to know about looking the part and feeling good in their body This episode is for anyone who’s been doing “everything right” but still not seeing results or who needs a reminder that the missing piece isn’t effort, it’s a plan made for you by a professional. Want to see what happens when you finally stop guessing and start training for real? Book a chat with me here: https://monikaamazur.as.me/CoffeeandGoals…
This week on the podcast, I’m joined by Michele Silver, who first joined BBM years ago and has experienced it all—pregnancy, postpartum, and now life as a busy mom balancing fitness, work, and everything in between. From starting with just the app to now training live multiple times per week, Michele shares how her approach to consistency, accountability, and mindset has evolved. We dive into how she’s made fitness non-negotiable, even with a toddler who insists on joining in—whether that means bringing her bands, hopping on the treadmill, or demanding to be held mid-walk. In this episode, we talk about: • Fitting workouts into mom life—and how Michele embraced training at home instead of waiting for the “perfect” conditions. • Letting go of the all-or-nothing mindset and the shifts that helped her stay consistent. • Why online accountability works—and how being part of the BBM community has helped her show up, even on tough days. • The unexpected benefits of strength training, from feeling more physically capable to having more patience as a parent. If you’ve ever felt like there’s no time, no space, or no way to make fitness work with everything else on your plate, this episode will change how you see it. Ready to make it work for you? If you’ve ever felt like success comes easier to others- like they’re building, growing, and winning while you’re stuck in the same place- this episode is for you. Because the truth is, it’s not about talent, luck, or even having the perfect plan. It’s about keeping your word. When you say you’re going to do something and don’t follow through, you reinforce the belief that your goals don’t matter. That your commitments are optional. Your ability to reach your goals is limited. And that’s exactly why you feel stuck. I’m breaking down: - Why 99% commitment is exhausting, and 100% commitment makes life easier (Yes, there’s a massive difference.) - The reason others seem to achieve success effortlessly while you’re spinning your wheels - How to break the cycle of inconsistency so you stop “starting over” and actually get somewhere This isn’t about motivation. It’s about rewiring how you show up, so you can finally create the results you’ve been chasing. If you’re sick of watching others succeed while you sit on the sidelines, this is the wake-up call you need. Listen now. And if you’re serious about making real changes, book a call: https://monikaamazur.as.me/CoffeeandGoals…
This week, I’m doing a solo episode to break down what’s changed in my life over the past three years since starting this podcast. No fluff, just lessons from taking action, adapting, and building a life that I love. I’m sharing: Action over perfection: how I stopped overthinking and started making moves. Building real freedom: the shifts that took me from a small house, and rigid schedule to financial and location independence. Fitness as a foundation: why staying in shape isn’t just about looks, it impacts everything. The loneliness of growth: why leveling up can feel isolating and how to handle it. This is for you if you’re stuck in overthinking, waiting for the “perfect” time, or feeling frustrated by slow progress. You’ll walk away with a clearer perspective on what actually moves the needle and how to start making real changes now. Want to strategize your next steps? This week on the podcast, I’m joined by Karolina D’Angelo, a BBM member who went from watching on the sidelines to fully committing to her fitness journey. After years of starting and stopping, she finally took the leap—and what started as a simple walking challenge turned into a complete mindset and lifestyle shift. We dive into what changed this time, why she stuck with it, how she made time despite having a toddler, and how she moved past the excuses that kept her stuck for years. Karolina shares what it was like going from doing nothing to lifting multiple times a week and how that transformation has impacted not just her body, but her confidence, energy, and even her approach to work and motherhood. In this episode, we talk about: Making fitness fit into mom life: how Karolina found time to work out, even with an active toddler constantly by her side. The shift from overthinking to action: what finally pushed her to stop watching and start doing. Why home workouts work: how training at home with accountability made fitness sustainable for her after years of failed gym memberships. The mental transformation: how strength training has changed not just her body, but the way she sees herself and her capabilities. If you’ve ever told yourself you’re too busy, too tired, or not “the kind of person” who sticks with fitness, Karolina’s story will show you what’s possible. This week on the podcast, I’m chatting with Clara Lima, a long-time BBM client who worked with me in fitness for years before coming to me for business coaching. For over a year, she was “building a business,” but in reality, nothing was actually moving forward. She wasn’t making progress- not because she didn’t have a vision, but because perfectionism, overthinking, and self-doubt kept her stuck. In this episode, we talk about what it really takes to go from thinking about a business to actually building one- especially when no one in your family or environment understands your vision or supports it. We also get into: • Letting go of perfectionism: how Clara stopped overanalyzing every detail and finally started taking action. • Making content creation easy: why forcing a rigid strategy wasn’t working and what actually made it effortless. • The role of coaching: how having structured support helped her stop spinning her wheels and take real, measurable steps forward. • Leaving a traditional job to build something new: what it’s like to pursue a path no one around you fully understands. If you feel stuck, if you have an idea but can’t seem to start, or if you’ve been trying to figure it out on your own and it’s just not working, this episode is for you. This week on the podcast, I’m joined by Jayna Roy , a client I first met back in 2017 when she walked into my fitness studio. Since then, we’ve had a journey full of starts, stops, comebacks, and growth—and in this episode, Jayna gets real about all of it. We dive into what it’s like to quit and come back —not just once, but multiple times. If you’re someone who’s taken a “BBM break,” feeling hesitant to return, or frustrated with yourself for not sticking to your routine, Jayna’s story will hit home. She shares how she worked through the guilt of “starting over” and why it’s not really starting over at all. We also get into: • The difference between personal training in a gym and training with me —and why those boot camps and generic “classes for the masses” didn’t work for her the way BBM does. • Home workouts vs. gym workouts —what’s actually effective (hint: it’s not about fancy equipment). • Mindset shifts —how Jayna moved from chasing quick fixes to building lifelong habits that stick, even after hitting pause. This episode is for anyone who’s ever felt annoyed with themselves for quitting, wondered how others stay consistent, or needed a reminder that progress isn’t about perfection—it’s about showing up, even after you’ve stopped. If you’re on the fence about coming back to BBM or just need some real talk about what it’s like to start, stop, and start again, you’re going to love this one. This week on the podcast, I’m joined by Basama, a longtime client who started working with me back in 2009. In this open and deeply personal conversation, we dive into some of the biggest challenges she’s faced- and overcome- with a focus on mental health, motherhood, and self-awareness. We talk about: • Mental health: Specifically, how having someone guide you can help pull you out of dark spots, and why it’s so important to seek support when you need it most. • Motherhood and being a role model: Basama shares her experiences raising two young daughters and how her desire to be a strong role model for them inspired her to work on herself first. • The struggle of asking for help: Why it feels so hard, but also how transformative it can be when you finally let go of the need to do it all alone. • The all-or-nothing mindset: How this way of thinking held her back, and the steps she took to embrace balance and sustainability in both fitness and life. This episode isn’t just about fitness, it’s about life. Basama’s vulnerability and honesty shed light on the challenges many of us face and offer inspiration for anyone navigating similar struggles. She gives a firsthand look at what it’s like to work with me, from life coaching to one-on-one training, and why the work we do is about so much more than exercise. If you’ve ever felt the weight of trying to do it all or struggled with asking for help, this conversation will resonate with you. It’s packed with actionable lessons on growth, resilience, and showing up for yourself so you can show up for the people who matter most. This week on the podcast, I’m chatting with Stephanie Monteiro, a longtime client and friend whose fitness journey started with me back in 2008. If you’ve ever felt stuck in your own fitness, you’ll find so much in her story that speaks to the struggles we all face when life shifts. We talk about: • Stephanie’s evolution from lifting with me to becoming an 18-time marathoner and triathlon finisher—and why, despite her incredible endurance, all that cardio never gave her the results she wanted. The best she felt, and the best she looked, was when she was strength training with me. • The challenges of pregnancy for someone used to being an athlete—when you’re used to pushing your body to its limits, and suddenly your body has other plans. • What it’s really like to return to fitness after having a baby, starting from scratch, and figuring out what works in a completely new chapter of life. • Why she came back to BBM: because it’s livable, sustainable, and delivers amazing visual results—better than anything cardio ever did. If you’ve been killing yourself with cardio, trying to “burn” your way to your dream body, this episode is a must-listen. Stephanie shares firsthand why that approach doesn’t work and how strength training changed everything for her. Her story is relatable, inspiring, and packed with lessons you can use on your own journey.…
In this week’s podcast episode, I sat down with Heather Hamilton, who’s been my client since 2011 (yes, over a decade!). Heather’s story is one of evolution—she’s worked with me in almost every way possible. We talk about: • How Heather started with me as a weight loss client and later prepped for a bodybuilding competition in 2013. • What happened post-competition when her training stayed strong but her diet went off the rails (a common experience for many competitors). • Why she’s continued to work with me through different phases of her life: from weight loss groups to 1:1 bodybuilding prep, online plans without live sessions, adding live Zoom training, and even including her sister in workouts. This episode will be especially valuable if you’ve ever wondered why someone would stay with a coach for so many years or how different approaches to training and coaching can evolve over time. And here’s the part I think many of you will find fascinating: Heather shares her experience losing the last five pounds. If you’ve ever thought achieving that “dream weight” would change everything and feel amazing, Heather gets real about what it’s actually like. Spoiler: it’s not all it’s cracked up to be—and her insight might shift how you think about your goals.…
Jessica reached out to me right before Thanksgiving last year. That’s how I knew she was serious- no one starts training during the holidays unless they’re truly done with their old ways. She almost didn’t do it. A loud voice told her it wasn’t the right time, but a quiet spark inside said, I want this for myself. She listened to that spark. We spoke. Jessica committed. She started showing up live, training on her own, and making small, manageable changes. After a few months, we added nutrition, then unlimited training for the summer. As a teacher, she used her time off to transform herself completely. She even got her 56-year-old mom- who had never worked out before- into fitness after BBM 10k step challenge in October. Her mom is now training with me regularly, and Jessica’s hoping to inspire her husband next. In this episode, Jes shares how she worked through doubt, made progress step by step, and found confidence she hadn’t felt in years. Her breakthrough moment? Wearing a stunning green dress to a wedding and feeling confident. If you’re busy, overwhelmed, or unsure where to start, this episode is for you. Time will pass anyway- make it work for you. If Jes can do it, so can you. Listen now and get inspired.…
