Let’s say it again, "堵车" (dǔ chē). The next word is "Rush Hour". In Chinese, we say "高峰期" (gāo fēng qī). For example, "It was the rush hour between 7 to 9 in the morning." can be translated to "早上7点到9点是高峰期。" (Zǎo shàng 7 diǎn dào 9 diǎn shì gāo fēng qī.) And if you want to "Beat the Rush", you can use the Chinese phrase "避免交通拥挤" (bì miǎn jiāo tōng yōng jǐ).
