There are a lot of values disconnects and tension points at the best of times when running a values grounded business inside a status-quo upholding business system. Health and helping professionals are notorious for de-centreing their needs and I want to present an alternate option that isn't a pendulum swing into 'selfishness' but an acceptance and awareness of your own needs and how meeting those reduces both resentment and burnout.
