Rapper Vince Staples talks about his music career, upcoming projects and takes a few questions from the audience. Vince first caught the music world’s attention as one third of the Cutthroat Boyz and is known for his fierce intellect and brutally honest rap style. He’s also collaborated with many artists—including Common on his 2014 release, Nobody’s Smiling.

Born in Chicago in 1939, Mavis first achieved wide recognition as the lead singer of the Staple Singers, her family’s band. Her rich contralto voice and deep-seated sensuality give her a truly original sound. Her 14th release, "One True Vine," releases on June 25 and is her second collaboration with Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy, who produced and wrote songs for the album.
