Their epic migration is one of nature’s most breathtaking spectacles, but their survival is under threat. In this episode, Jaime shares how his passion for photography and conservation led him to document the monarchs’ journey. He and host Brian Lowery discuss the deeper story behind his award-winning images, one about resilience, connection, and the urgent need to protect our natural world. This podcast is for any woman who has ever been belittled and been seen to be less because of their gender, for any woman that has been told in some way or form that they should be quiet because men are speaking or has been stereotyped into a particular job once again because of their gender.

“Husband Hunting” I really feel as if we shouldn’t be a generation of women who are on the search for a man or husband. Chimamanda Adichie recently said, “So many women are 23 and fixated on marriage.” (Don’t quote me word for word if you are reading this Chimamanda) but the point she made really resonated with me. We are no longer women who aren’t allowed to work. We are women who can work, get their own passports, buy their own house and define their own path. My business is called Refined Currency because it represents us being a new age of women and money. Yet so many of us still feel internal and societal pressure to get married. Why? We’ve seen many times over that rushing into it or forcing yourself to be ready when you’re not is not the answer. In the past, I have very clearly said to men (a potential partner), “Listen, I don’t sit and think about my wedding all day.” That means that my goals are bigger than a union where I wear white and feed the 5000 (if you’re Nigerian, you know small weddings don’t exist). I want someone I can build with, grow with and create little legends with. However, I cannot do that if I don’t pour my potential into myself first. The same goes for you. I’m not saying we should be alone or lonely. I’m saying we shouldn’t lose our most valuable years finding a match because society tells us it’s time. Define love, in the same way, you would define success, on your own terms.…
Why do we dislike saying no? Is it the feeling of rejecting someone? Is it being a natural born people pleaser? Is it because that person may be useful in your future so you're thinking, just stay in contact just in case they're 'useful' in the future? At times we give other people our time, money or peace of mind by saying "yes" to them but "no" to ourselves. Listen to my podcast where I explain why you should be living your life the other way round.…
