Fabien & Amelie Faget pursued their dream to own a Bordeaux wine estate and today produce La Fleur Saint Bonnet in The Medoc region of Bordeaux. Fabien had prior achieved acclaim as the top winemaker at Chateau Meyney. Almost 40% of wine from France is produced by Coops who are able to supply European grocery stores and USA big box retailers with sizeable volume of product. Vineyard owners will bring their grapes to the Coop for processing & vinification as a group. The opposite spectrum is independent vigneron growers, who brand their own vineyard and market their own offerings.
