Abdullah ibn Ahmad (rah) related from his father Imam Ahmad (rah) who related from Ismaa'eel ibn Aaliyah (rah) who related from Ay'yoob as- Sakthtiyaanee (rah) who related from Muhammad ibn Seereen (rah), "When the Fitnah arose, the Glorious Companions numbered in there tens of thousands - yet less than a mere hundred got involved indeed their number was barely thirty." (Ahmad - Musnad "This Chain is one of the soundest Chains on the face of the earth and Muhammad ibn Seereen [rah] is one of the most pious people in his speech and his reports are the soundest). Alee (ra) stared "How smart was the stance taken by Sa'ad ibn Maalik (ra) and Abdullah ibn Umar (ra) for if it is correct, the reward will be great and if wrong then the consequence will not be serious." (Al-Haithami Majma Az-zawaa'id). "The Messenger ﷺ said to Am'maar (ra) whilst digging the ditch, as he ﷺ began to pass his hand over his head - in love and affection. "What a trouble to the son of Sumayyah (raa)! A rebellious party will kill you!" (Muslim).…

Session 36 The Prophecy of the Reign of Imam Mu'aawiyah (ra) When the sword is placed in my Ummah it will then not be withdrawn till lhe Last Hour (Tirmidhi). A rebellious group (ie the Khwaarij) will emerge at a time of dissent amongst the Muslims, and it will be destroved by the closer of the two groups to the Truth, (Muslim). Imam Nawawee (rah) commented, "This is a declaration that both parties are Believers and fighting each other does not cancel their Faith - and, indeed, they should not (even) be called impious" (Sharh Saheeh Muslim). Hadrat Alee (ra) said of Hadrat Mu'aawiyah (ra) (on his return from the Battle of Siffeen), "O People! Do not disapprove of Mu'aawiyah(ra) Governorship, for verily if you lose (then) you will witness heads falling from their shoulders just as the fruits of the wild gourd tree breaks and falls down (Al Bidayya). An affair lingering day and night will not come to an end until Mu'aawiyah (ra) is at the helm of the State (Daylamee). "O Allah (SWT)! Make him (Mu'aawiyah ra) a guide, Mahdiyan - one guided, and guide (others) through him (Tirmidhi). Indeed, it is only the Ahlus Sunnah Wal-Jamaah alone who are pleased with both parties, Alee & Moawiah (raa).…
