Christine has been with CIWOT since it was established in 2009, and with her extensive experience living across various countries, she understands first hand the profound need for a welcoming community when arriving in a new place. Her passion for CIWOT reflects her belief in the power of connection, support, and personal growth.
CIWOT is dedicated to empowering women, fostering leadership skills, and providing an avenue for friendship and networking. Through its efforts, CIWOT creates a space where women in Cyprus can come together, contribute to the local community, and build enduring relationships. CIWOT members volunteer their time to support local charities, organize fundraising efforts, offer skill-building courses, and plan social gatherings that help members connect, explore new experiences, and enjoy a sense of belonging.
If you’re in Limassol, consider attending a heartfelt ceremony on Sunday, November 10, 2024, at 12:30 PM, held at Armonia Park in Agios Tychonas. This gathering will honor the memory of five foreign workers and two children who tragically lost their lives between 2016 and 2018. The event offers a moment of unity and reflection for the community as we come together to remember these lives and show our support for one another.
