Grading an entire roster can be difficult, but for the second straight season we’ve done our best on Inside Black & Gold with a custom rubric that weighs starter quality, depth, dependability and a handful of other metrics. We’ll start with the bottom three positions, all three of which land on the offense and could make or break the season.
The grade rubric:
- Starter quality: 1-30
- Depth: 1-20
- Dependability: 1-15 (health/availability … consistency)
- Track record: 1-15 (statistically & in big moments)
- Playoff experience: 1-10
- Upside: 1-10
