Matt, Steph, and Cec first crossed paths at Lululemon — before Matt and Steph started The Corker Co and before Cec embarked on her own entrepreneurial journey. Steph and Cecily discuss her journey from professional dancer, to a 15 year career at lululemon, to becoming a mom and starting her own business, to now joining The Corker Collective. From her goal of being the best dancer in Canada, to retiring and falling in love with helping people feel better about themselves — Cec reflects on her relationship with time and how motivations and priorities change as we grow older. The duo discuss life after lululemon — and how maternity leave helped Cecily find the space to come into her own, and to move away from her identity as ‘Cecily from Lululemon’ to ‘Cecily’. Cecily isn’t constrained by the limited beliefs others place on her, or dictated by competition: “I can’t compete against anyone because no one is me” — she embodies the belief that anything is possible and finds joy in repetition on the quest to mastery.
