I absolutely love when I get the opportunity to do on-location interviews and this one is right up there with one of my favorites! I had an impromptu opportunity to take a week trip down to Perdido Key with some good friends, so of course, I jumped on it. While down there, I thought, you know, this is an area of Florida I've not been to before. There's got to be some amazing lady anglers in the area that I could meet up with and feature on the show. So, I reached out to my good friend Captain Debbie Hanson to see if she has any ideas and she pointed me in the direction of this week's guest, Captain Gabrielle Barnes!Capt. Gabby is based out of the Destin area, so we made the short drive over to Ft. Walton Beach, where we met up one beautiful afternoon on Okaloosa Island at The Gulf Restaurant waterside, which was the perfect setting for our conversation. Gabby pulled her center console Nautic Star after successfully catching some bait in preparation for the next day's charter and here we are!You'll hear jets flying overhead from the nearby Air Force base, and other ambient sounds making you feel like you're right there with us as Gabby recounts her amazing adventures in fishing and as a successful Charter Captain with her company Lady Luck Adventures finishing up her 4th Season.
