One of the questions I get asked the most is "How do I find a Mistress or Dom as a life partner?" and quite often, there is a misunderstanding of the differences between looking for a romantic life-partner who will share a D/s dynamic with you vs. a trained practitioner who works with you, mentors you, or engages in a more contractual D/s dynamic, but is not in a romantic relationship with you. Here, I'm going to cover some of the differences, and ways you can incorporate a subtle nod to your desired lifestyle or identity while in the dating scene.
