Behold, the Exercise Mechanics Roundtable returns, featuring Luke and James being joined by their good friend, fellow mechanics geek and Education Portal member, Mr Paul Standell. Luke, James and Paul spent over an hour discussing some of the main considerations around such movements, with some specific focus placed around discussing 45° Leg Presses, Barbell Squats and 4-bar-linkage-system Leg Presses. In addition to the many random tangents, the trio discussed the likes of strength and resistance profiles (and how these may differ vastly depending on various factors), key set-up considerations, the importance of controlling rep speed, and how we can make the most of our roles as exercise professionals by embracing the ability to explore things.
